Teaching Children Effectively Level 1

Posted by Ashley Hoover

Like I promised, here is a glimpse of the TCE 1 course I helped teach a couple weeks ago. We had I think 7 students and they all did a great job!

Learning about links.

The students give it a try.

Success! Well done you guys.

A couple students practicing the Wordless Book. Most of our students have been to Christian Youth in Action several years so this was easy for them.

They all studied very hard and it showed in thier practicums.

Lunch time! The cooks did a fabulous job and we sure didn't go hungry! Thanks ladies!

We had some fun with some extra workshop times. One thing we covered was High Octane/review games. Everyone loves parachutes right?

Singing songs.

We also had a Gospel Handpainting workshop. I think everyone enjoyed it and even grown ups like to color.

During the demo club they had a "special missionary guest" come share...guess what I talked about? ;) Somehow I missed the memo that I was supposed to do that for the club but it all worked out, I never have nothing to say about Honduras.

There's a small look into TCE 1. The training went very well, thank you so much for your prayers and I look forward to seeing what God does through each of the students as they share the Gospel with children this summer and beyond.

A VERY fun week!! :) It was fun seeing you again, Ash.

I enjoyed seeing you all too! I hope ministry this summer is just amazing & you reach lots of children with the Gospel.

Thanks David, a fellow missionary in Honduras sent it to me. :)
