CEF Regional Conference

Posted by Ashley Hoover

In October CEF held it's Regional Conference for all of Latin America. Honduras got to be the host country which created a lot of excitement here (and of course, lots of work!). It was neat to see all the registrations come in and in the end we had almost 200 people in attendance! It was held in the city of San Pedro Sula. Here are just a few of the photos from the event so you can get a little glimpse of what went on.

Most of the attendees. about 30 are missing in the pic.

The welcoming crew at the airport.

The National directors had a couple days of meeting before everyone else arrived for the conference.

Me with the Director of Argentina.

Two of my bosses ;) Mr. Abner Pineda, Regional Director for CEF and Mr. Harry Robinson, Vice President of International Ministries.

Singing together.

You can see about the size of the group we had.

More singing.

Teaching.

One of my favorite Instructors from CMI, Dr. Martha Wright was one of the Conference speakers. It was soo good to hear her teach again!

Tourism day.

In the bus.

The scenery along the way.

A skit.

The National Directors (or country representative) receiving a plaque for each National office.

For the last night we had a special supper of typical honduran foods along with a marimba providing the music!

We had the conference at a lovely center. It looks very nice for the closing night.

Talking and enjoying the atmosphere.

Sandra eating a typical seafood soup. It's super yummy!!
