My office space

Posted by Ashley Hoover

So this is where I work when I'm in the office. My wonderful office mate, Dee, sits right on the other side of me and we have lots of fun together. Those little holes could provide hours of entertainment since we can see each other through them. I haven't yet decided what kind of mischief can be done with them because my nerf gun's amo is too big to fit through it. Another look. I was working on putting together training notebooks for 5-Day Club trainings. Our director made these cubicles out of bookshelves the bookstore was getting rid of. Works nicely :)

Let's try this again...

Maybe I didn't have all the right gear last time...oh well, I'll be cheering for Honduras again as they take on Spain tomorrow!

Amen

A huge flag displayed during a World Cup match, it reads, "Jesus King of the nations. Every tongue will confess." True story, Romans 14:11-12, "'As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God."

World Cup

Posted by Ashley Hoover

Some of you might know the World Cup is already under way and there's been some good games so far. I'm waiting impatiently for the Honduras vs. Chile game on the 16th. If any of you want to join me in cheering them on you can watch it online at ESPN 3 (along with other games) if you don't get it on your TV. I'd love to hear which team you are cheering for in the World Cup. (no it doesn't have to be Honduras :))

CMI between the classes

Posted by Ashley Hoover

I thought I'd back up a little bit to CMI. Since I'm not the best at taking pictures and don't have any of in class, this post will give you a glimpse of what we did in our free time. (which I should say we didn't always have a lot of just so we don't get the idea it was all fun & games)

We went to the St. Louis zoo one Saturday. We're making friends with the penguin shaped bush/tree thing. He was pretty nice. As far as I could tell he was an emperor penguin.
We could have really hugged a real one if we wanted they were that close...it probably would have been the end of our trip to the zoo though so we settled for a photo. I don't remember what kind this little guy was.

I loved these baby snakes! I'd never seen one before, they were just coming out of their eggs and were so cute!

A ring tailed lemur. They were really fun to watch.
Raising the Honduran flag at the International Headquarters. Maybe my favorite out of class activity. :)

Mr. Reese Kauffman president of CEF spoke at the graduation ceremony. I always enjoy hearing him speak. I'm always amazed at the amount of scripture he can quote and has memorized. It challenges me to memorize scripture more.

That's about all the photos I have but in the future I'll try to take more so I can share with you. Have a great day!
