High Seas Expedition

Posted by Ashley Hoover

As Promised here is a look into our VBS adventure on the High Seas. From the preschool perspective of course. :)

This is Skipper, he was our buddy/mascot kinda guy for the preschool group.

Everyone loves to sing. We spent a lot of our song time jumping and spinining in circles and trying to do the motions...not a lot of actual singing but a whole lot of fun!

Tony thinking about something. Everyone else was busy around him but he was lost in thought about something. After I took the picture I went over and talked to him some and he seemed sad. He cheered up though as the night went on.

The sanctuary all "decked" out. ;) (Sorry if that was lame but I had to try) Sailor Robert (the pastor) and Captain Lori did the opening each night. My fun co-worker with CEF Dee directed the VBS and they are all having a pow-wow it looks like here.

Snack time!! Everyone loves snack time, even grown ups. Miss Dee would tell us how the snack related to our Bible story for that night.

Colton being silly.

Marli about to quiz me on something. She wasn't a big fan of the chips and dip this night.

Practicing sharing using Goldfish. Trust me, it's harder than it looks! :)

Craft time. This project was more work for the adults than the kids I think...

But the finished product was pretty cool! Hannah shows off her picture frame.

More sharing.

And we ended the night playing games. The kids had fun with the parachute last night, who doesn't? :)
That's about all the photos I have due to the fact that keeping 10 preschoolers under control is a lot harder with a camera in your hand. :) Thanks for praying, we had a great time and Thursday night after the Gospel presentation I had the priviledge of counseling with two girls who wanted to believe in Christ. During the next week I'll post more about VBS and the things we learned each night.
