Ministry in Yuscaran

Posted by Ashley Hoover

Every few weeks I have the opportunity to help out in a small town called Yuscaran. It's about an hour from the capitol city in the mountains. Adults and children come to hear God's Word and normally around 100 people faithfully attend. Here are some pictures of the last time I went.

Before the teaching began I joined some of the children and we  "fished".

Let me just say they can teach me a thing or two about fishing without a pole...

I may or may not have fallen in.

Listening to the message.

More faces of Yuscaran.

This particular trip we also washed the children's hair with shampoo for lice.

And set up a Beauty Salon in the back of the van to cut the girl's hair.

Waiting for the snack afterwards.
